Choose a healthier snack alternative for your children: enjoy homemade cookies with no refined sugar or additives, containing more fibre, nutrients and naturally sweetened - perfect for the whole family as a snack or as a lunchbox treat!
For 10-15 cookies:
Ingredients
100g of oats
200g apple puree
1 egg
60g of flour (of your choice)
6g of baking powder
2 tbsp of nut butter (I used almond butter)
One handful (or two!) of chocolate chips
Optional: 1 tbsp of maple syrup
In a bowl, combine the apple purée and egg, then stir in the nut butter, oats, and flour. Finish by mixing in the baking powder, followed by the chocolate chips. Spoon the mixture into cookie shapes on a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
